“NPR identified two Trump campaign staffers involved in an altercation at Arlington National Cemetery last week. They, according to a source, are deputy campaign manager Justin Caporale and Michel Picard, a member of Trump’s advance team. Those staffers had a verbal and physical confrontation with a cemetery official who tried to stop them from taking photos and videos in Section 60, a restricted area where many casualties of Iraq and Afghanistan are buried. The Trump campaign and the US Army acknowledged the incident, but this week, Trump insisted it didn’t take place at all.”
Maybe his campaign people secretly do not want him to win. Maybe he is so demented he can’t stop himself from constantly lying. It’s certainly proven he is incapable of keeping his mouth shut. The smiling thumbs up at the cemetery should be as it is for me, the very last straw. Who in the actual —— would ever be smiling and giving a thumbs up at a cemetery?
One “thumbs up” definition: “you approve of or give the thumbs up to something to show that you approve of something, such as a plan, a suggestion, or an activity, and are willing to accept it.”
No one in this country should ever approve or accept that it is okay for young men and women to die for their country! It is nothing to smile about. It is a tragedy. Respect is never shown by him for anything, really. Maybe one of his golf scores? He has no concept of what serving your country means, shown by the insidious photo taking jaunt. There are many examples of his disrespect.😡

Maple Tableau
Watching maple leaves
Green starts fading out
Red starts in the veins
As sugar is trapped
Bright colors emerge
Covering the leaf.

Can You Tell A Story In…
Lawyers for former President Donald Trump and the Justice Department are set to appear in a federal courtroom today for what could be the last hearing in his election interference case before the November election. This year, voters will decide the winner of the presidency — and, by extension, Trump’s legal fate. A D.C. grand jury indictment accused Trump of actions resulting in the violent siege at the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. If he reclaims the White House, he’s expected to direct new Justice Department leaders to drop the landmark case.
🎧 Trump claims the new indictment is election interference, saying it violates a DOJ policy about taking big steps too close to an election, NPR’s Carrie Johnson tells Up First. Judge Tanya Chutkan will need to figure out how to draw the line between which of Trump’s actions in the White House were part of his presidential duties and which were made as a candidate for office. Johnson says there’s no way this will be resolved before the election and it might not go to trial until next year due to the possibility of the Supreme Court’s involvement.
