It’s too late now, they’ve taken to acts of revenge. I wouldn’t just step out with bare feet on my grassy lawn after the sprinklers were on, you might get a shock! And I’m not talking about your brain freeze as you see thousands of electric wormlike creatures gravitating towards your porch steps…notice how they ignore the trees and natural creatures? Yes my friend, they are coming straight for you. Better get on those rubber flip flops asap!

This Week’s Writer’s Workshop Prompts – September 24, 2024
Here are this week’s questions:
1. Do you prefer to sit in an armchair or curl up on a couch in the evening? I’m in a wheelchair 90% of my waking hours, then recliner for a movie maybe.
2. What was the last book you read? The last book I read was “Cave 13” by Jonathan Maberry. Just started T J Klune’s “Somewhere Beyond the Sea”.
3. What snacks do you enjoy?All the worst ones, chips, cookies etc, but usually now it’s veggies and fruit.
4. Do you prefer vegetables over fruit? I love both but veggies probably every day a love.
Gratitude: I am grateful an old woman who lived in this complex moved to assisted living where she can get the care she needs. It was a big change but she’s getting used to it. And always, family.

Cool mornings, pleasant evening chills, all enjoyed by a warm bonfire. Maple trees are the stars of autumn’s beginning, a short vision, and then we watch children dance in leaf piles.

Among my people and of course you know, I have the best people, I met John Furtado in the third grade. Our fathers were both rich so we played around a lot and I admit at this juncture in my campaign…because you know I’m so far ahead in the polls I can afford to be honest…now don’t laugh, you know I’m always honest…John and I made paper kites and uh well, we uh, used them to fly up girls’ skirts…hahaha…nowadays that would be called sexual harassment.., hahahaha.
