Some people are born to a numerical path Not me I think, because I don’t do math Miss Pensitivity a math 101 Writes this prompt-it’s a number one For me because I always enjoy Using the three words she employs However today I can’t convey A suitable answer to her three words displayed. I can calculate with a machine Add, multiply and even deduct a mean But with pencil and paper I’m lucky to have An eraser handy.
It was decided, however reluctantly, that the Gods Harmonia, Concordia, and Freya meet to discuss the fate of Earth and return them to the vicinity of peace. Joined by Macha, Eirene, and Lusaris, famed for returning things that have been forcibly altered from natural states, and grant perseverance and calm.
“In a recent development in the ongoing legal battles surrounding former President Donald Trump, a New York judge has granted him permission to seek dismissal of a criminal case in which he was convicted in May of 34 felony counts involving hush money paid to a porn star. This decision comes in light of Trump’s victory in the Nov. 5 presidential election.” Read more disgusting news here:
You know what this means—as soon as January rolls around and he’s in his office, the SCOTUS presidential immunity hits and he will not be further prosecuted for his many crimes. I guess these “judges” and (I wonder where they purchased their degrees), want to go home early for Christmas, just like congress, who reap tax dollar money while all of these lawsuits just sit there. But you’ll see them on tv, or social media like FB, yelling about the choices Trump hopes to have in offices none are qualified for. Choices from payoffs for supporting his campaign, even opposite minded for the work of the office, such as AJ, Education, Health and Welfare. These appointees oppose what the office stands for. Making up a new organization led by Musk who I must admit did his bit to support Trump, and now he’s being paid off. So what does an ordinary citizen do? While your congress people may say publicly what they think, how about asking them to do something about it? These people are working for us—for the people!
I’m stopping here, getting coffee. I know you’re glad about that!
An interesting choice and so many interpretations! First I’d like to say a grandson is turning 25 today, I always consider that a milestone to celebrated! 🥳
Then the prompt which my first thought was how unjust our country is becoming and justice is not being served by the supreme justices in office. Just for a moment picture if Trump was a black medium income man and having committed the crimes he has been proven to have done, where do you think he would be today? Running for president? Becoming the next president of the fin’ USA? Sorry…but this is stream of consciousness and the word just? just brings out the anger in me, because there is no justice here.
The text message said, “Meet me behind the water tower at midnight. Come alone and don’t tell anyone.” Joe read it again. He really liked Julie, but never thought of her as the impulsive type. He changed out of his work clothes and into jeans and a hoodie. He pulled up the hood thinking she wanted this meet to be a secret. He snuck out his bedroom window thinking he couldn’t wait till he had a place of his own, slid down the tiled roof and jumped off into the backyard. Made it, he thought and didn’t even rip his jeans!
Joe turned onto the street leading to the water tower. There wasn’t a soul around and he started jogging. As he approached the water tower, Julie peeked around the corner and they met. Julie was totally upset. She had been crying and her face was puffy and red. Joe really didn’t know what to do. “What’s wrong?” He asked and she just fell into his arms and started crying again.
“It’s my mom, she’s really mad at my dad. I think they’re going to get a divorce!”
“Even if that’s true, you’re ready to move out anyway, right?” Julie stepped in and pushed Joe in the chest. He didn’t know what to do or say. Apparently what he did say was not right. Joe and Julie had many long conversations about moving out together, so thought that was what she wanted to hear. “ I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. I don’t know what to say.”
Julie went and hugged him. Two young lovers in a quandary. Joe decided to walk Julie back to her parents’ home and see if the four of them might be able to talk it out and find middle ground. Julie’s parents were surprised at Joe’s maturity. The conversations began.
