It’s winter windy here in Cheyenne, but the sun is shining bright. The word bulk comes to mind as I read my exit report from the rehab and they had me down as 35 pounds heavier than I knew I was. The food was so horrible. I didn’t even eat it so what is up with that?🙄 Talk about making somebody going home feeling better😵💫. Yesterday I went to my regular doctor and insisted that they weigh me and I was down from my regular weight about 10 pounds so take that rehab.
I told my daughter if I get sick again or need rehab I’m definitely not going to that place. I’m wishing all of you a safe and healthy rest of the season. Please be careful if you have ice you have to walk on – believe me you do not want to get a broken limb.
This is a picture of my daughter and her husband back in 1993. They celebrated their 32nd anniversary this week!

Share Your World 2/27/2017
Hello Wednesday-two hours from now. Cold this evening, but sunny today. Wind never stops. But hey, WP working great! Thanks to the powers that be……
Ceenphotography.wordpress.com has some new questions for us this week:
1. Have you ever run out of gas? No. My husband did when I was with him. I had to keep from smiling because I knew it was going to happen. He assured me we had at least three gallons when the gauge showed “empty”. I guess not😂
2. Black or green olives? Definitely green, love them.🍸
3. If you were a great explorer, where would you go? I would love to see New Zealand and Australia.
4. Share some of your favorite quotes.
“It ain’t over till the fat lady sings” Dan Cook”
“You’re killin’ me, Smalls” The Sandlot
“It’s like deja vu all over again”. Yogi Berra
“Vern”. Stand By Me
“There’s 106 miles to Chicago, we’ve got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, its dark out, and we’re wearing sunglasses”. Elwood Blues
“Go ahead, make my day”. Clint Eastwood

I am grateful for my grandson’s fourteenth birthday this past weekend. A great kid adopted from Korea as an infant, born without arms and he can do anything. There’s a video of him playing his first basketball game where he scored a three pointer. I put it on an early blog Prompt post, named Determination.
Looking forward to the weekend and following week because it’s payday! Yea!
😄🎉🎊👍🏻

Get to Know You #53
This week’s Story Starter teaser is:
No one had been down the overgrown path for years, yet…two ten year old boys were not aware of that fact. Joe and Jack were just riding their bikes and got off on the wrong track. They were so busy talking over their school day, suddenly they looked around and decided they had no idea where they were. Looking back saw nothing familiar and the path behind them had disappeared. The path laid out in front of them was ominous. The trees seemed to be closing in. They couldn’t see even twenty feet in front of them. The two boys looked at each other nervously. Joe reached into his backpack to get the phone his mother always insisted he take when he and Jack were on their adventures. This adventure was starting to scare them, and Joe decided to call his mother for help. The phone was not working. There was no cell service in that area. They must have traveled much further than they thought. Jack said not to panic and looked in his backpack for his compass and some snacks and water. They decided to sit down and rest a minute and figure out what had happened. Jack always came prepared and he knew his directions. He knew that they had come east from their neighborhood on the path. Apparently they had gotten into the Dark Woods road instead of someplace they knew. Jack said if they got back on their bikes and headed back the way they came, they would find home. He was certain that if they kept peddling west the path would show up and it did. The boys kept this little adventure to themselves.

Again, again, and again. That’s what I thought when I saw her buying books… again. She always received books for Christmas gifts so that her closet was completely full, all of her bookcases were completely full, and every corner of her room was completely full, of books! If she wasn’t buying books, she was reading books. Oh well. Now that she’s moved out it’s her roommate’s worry. Even though I never liked trying to clean around her piles and piles of books. I miss her.
