Can You Tell A Story In…

I saw a video of a female bear that was just walking along and many photographers were filming her and all she wanted was to get to a body of water. It made me sad. We are taking over wildlife habitats. We are ruining the environment while “camping” and leaving trash, etc in those areas. These campers also cause forest fires with their careless and unknowledgeable actions. The wildlife and beautiful forests were here first and their areas and homes need to be respected.

The door to the study had been locked for years, yet tonight it stood wide open. A light shone from the study into the hall. Shadows were moving in the room and I thought I must be seeing things! I was. Robbers had broken in, gasping at the thought. I stepped closer and grabbed a heavy candelabra from the bureau in the hall. I was shocked to see dogs, about five dogs, running around in the room. Apparently the master of the hounds had broken in, using the dogs as protection.
As he saw me in the doorway, he tried to explain. “I’m owed a sum so I can retire and the master kept it in his desk, here. I only want what I’m owed. He promised I could retire and it’s been the ten years we agreed upon. I only want what is due.”

Fandango’s Story Starter #215
How spoiled am I? I Just retrieved some leftovers from my freezer to put in the microwave to thaw out for lunch. And then I retrieved a cold bottle of water out of my refrigerator. I ate the leftovers and then cleaned up the pan in my sink and putting what was left into garbage disposal. After I cleaned this dish, I put it in my dishwasher. This is being written on an Apple iPad, yes, also spoiled while people are starving and smaller countries and our president in all of his gold trimmed office that belongs to the people, not him, is smiling, saying it’s just business. Children dying and starving. It’s just business, and why should we care about someone in a shit hole country?
We are spoiled as we sit reading this, or any other blog. What are we going to do about it? These are the milder photos.

Her voice really made their ears ring
An audition for opera
Made them try to stop her
Said “Sorry, it’s just not your thing!”

Monday Poetry Prompt: Crescent Moon

I could pretend it was cold enough that the honey bees would stay home, but I saw some trying to hover over the zoo’s dense garden of roses. The roses were bordering the primate area, a poorly planned section. Once I tried to move them along back near their hive where the honey was, but it was a failed practice. The security for the primates forbid any interaction with them or the bees, so I couldn’t do it alone. My coworker and I smoked them and were successful in pulling them back into the hive. Either the bees or the primates would have to be moved.
