This week we are dipping our toes into the pool of OPPOSITES. Our challenge is all about “opposing forces” and the use of antithesis in our writing. You will need to use the two opposing words in your response – which can be poetry or prose.

I had published this once and when I looked at my posts once again checking for errors, it was not there😳🙄. Murphy is lurking I’m sure of it. If I’m not putting s’s instead of a’s i’s instead of o’s, it’s deciding to delete again. A while ago I complained about how speaking instead of typing would fix my fumble finger moments, the text just started automatically disappearing. It must be my phone?? Internet? WP?

Home today is nice and cool and sunny. People are reffing soccer, wedding preparations found and applied, and reading news didn’t make me as angry as usual. So hope your home is happy today too!

Netflix is showing the movie “Tower Heist” and it’s a fun romp with many actors you will recognize.

I hold the lantern up, searching for the promised haven, a panacea of comfort. I am not an apprentice in the world of loving someone, but I want to be careful. I want this dreamlike stage to be permanent. I suppose this is truly only a fantasy.

“The beer industry has been battered by the pandemic, and a carbon dioxide shortage is the latest blow to production. Prices for carbon dioxide spiked in August, and it could cause production cuts and price hikes. Just in time for Oktoberfest. 😢”

It’s a cool sunny day here in my home in Wyoming, and that’s the way I like it! Autumn is here, my favorite time of year and even though the retailers are pushing Christmas, I like the fall holidays. It makes me wonder if the Christmas stuff including edible items are all from last year’s stock— like unsold Easter candy? Well that ruined my appetite, I’m just having coffee.

Tried to download the new upgrade and everything went blooey😱. Then I was sent multiple messages to enter a passcode – a set of six numbers and I did so over and over to be told they were incorrect even though copied off message correctly. I had to change my password. Then was told everything would be merged into the cloud and my photos etc could only be accessed there. What the dickens? My phone had been acting up so when I first tried to download the upgrade thinking it would fix anything, it wouldn’t do it. Weird, or is it just me, again??? Calgon , take me away!
