I doubt it is a coincidence another beautiful dog was found at the shelter. Bonnie, pic below, looked like a lioness lying down and we miss her:

We have had many animal friends in our family and miss the ones not with us anymore.😔. Animal shelters are overly full and the first place to choose a new friend.

That is what we will do when we’re ready. Still grappling with the loss of our Buddy. He made it to 16! We would sometimes call him King Buddy for his lion like features similar to your lioness Bonnie.

Yes, yes, yes…all of our shelter dogs were an absolute joy.
