The Sunday Whirl

The little raccoon looked ravenous. I heard the cans crash as they were rattled against the garage door. The creature I found lurked at the bottom of the can, his usually large jowls dark and hollow. In the space of five minutes, he had managed to slip by the flickering red glass eye in the “intruder” camera and no shame involved as he obviously had crept up to the top of the cans. I went in the house and fetched some bread and small cheese cubes. Of course that means he’ll be back…
