“BREAKING: Tammy Duckworth SMACKS down JD Vance after he called her mentally challenged in a disgusting attack!

The Vice-President hit a new low in pathetic cowardice this afternoon when he tweeted that “Watching Tammy Duckworth obsessively interrupt Marco Rubio during this hearing is like watching Forest [sic] Gump argue with Isaac Newton.”

War hero Sen. Tammy Duckworth was questioning the Secretary of State over allegations that the Trump administration had forewarned the oil companies but not Congress about his plan to kidnap Nicolas Maduro and hold the country of Venezuela hostage for its oil revenues.

But this, apparently, angered the Vice-President, who referenced an autistic character from the famous film Forrest — two R’s, Vance! — Gump in a very backhanded but obvious attempt to call her the right-wing’s favorite new word: “retarded,” which has been used by Trump in his attacks on Democrats.

Sen. Duckworth fired back and called out Vance and the entire Trump administration for putting American lives at risk so that Trump and his oil oligarch cronies could make out like bandits:

“Forrest Gump ran toward danger in Vietnam. Your boss ran to his podiatrist crying bone spurs.”

“Petty insults at the expense of people with disabilities won’t change the fact that you’re risking troops’ lives to boost Chevron’s stock price. It’s my job to hold you accountable.”

At least one person in that room is interested in actually doing their job.

It is beyond infuriating to watch our supposed leaders insult our war heroes for standing up for the interests of the American people — and humiliating for Vance to not even have the courage to come out and say it to her face, like a little schoolkid trying to stay out of trouble.

What a pathetic excuse of a man to say that to a woman who lost both her legs in service to her country.”

Another despicable person – Vance

  1. It’s interesting how popular this form of attack is with Team Trump, and I think it speaks loudly of their own fears. Mr Trump himself, obviously, is terrified of being revealed as an intellectual inferior and his reaction to that fear is to call everyone else inferior.
Deep down most stupid people know that they are stupid and having suffered the resultant barbs of insult from childhood take every opportunity to redirect those barbs toward others, assuming that it will somehow make themselves look less stupid. It has the opposite effect, of course.
Stupid people spend their lifetime seeking out other stupid people to look down upon, but when they discover that truly stupid people are actually something of a rarity they spray the insult in every direction hoping that it will stick somewhere. It’s the only insult they are personally familiar with.

So, when you fill up leadership positions requiring experience, intelligence and integrity with people not only hopelessly unqualified for such positions, but people who KNOW they are hopelessly unqualified for those positions, how do you expect them to react?

    1. I really don’t know how to reply to your words because everyone with half a brain here knows that it’s true and why Congress is sitting on their butts collecting salaries and they get on YouTube or someplace and complain but when it comes to voting when it comes to action they don’t do anything. Could be that Trump is so filthy rich and dangerous that he has control over everyone? The sycophants that he has placed around him – they all know How crazy he is, demented cruel even. They know, but they just sit back and spout that rhetoric, they never answer a straight question, never, they just repeat and repeat craziness. If this was a TV show like South Park, everybody would get a good laugh out of Trump and his actions. But it’s not. It’s killing people in the street it’s beating them up it’s tearing their children away from them. It’s so hard to believe and it’s so maddening. Sorry, I just can’t take it.

    2. It was certainly not my intention to further upset you, Cheryl.
And nothing lasts forever. This regime will fall in time, and I strongly believe, not very much time.
Memory, of course, likewise fades …. but I’m hoping nobody quickly forgets this atrocity.

    3. I’ve been upset for months. It seems our government is collapsing and I’m sure our enemies are loving it. I think though that Vance would be worse. He is scary! Thanks for your response!☺️

    4. Can I suggest that perhaps you avoid thinking in terms of ‘enemies’ and think maybe in terms of ‘rivals’?
The word ‘enemies’ fosters the sense of paranoia that Mr Trump weaponises against his own people.
Nobody is an enemy until you make them one.
