Starting the morning with gripper socks
Warm and cozy, bottom has bumps
A fairly good accessory to prevent knocks
In case I slip and don’t want any 🫨
I’ve been saddled with one foot in a sock
Almost a year now and guess it’s a lock
A few more weeks till my right heel heals
A boring story, please, no sympathy feels.🙃
So back to my morning, coffee’s a must
My one cup maker never sees any dust
I find the caffeine doesn’t affect me at all
I’ve even read it’s a benefit call👍🏻😛
Well then I take my cup to the table
And write with my iPad as I’m able
It takes all my morning, a fine treat
And then about three find something to eat.
It’s boring to read this and more boring to live
If it weren’t for reading and comments you give.🥳
I admit I’m no poet, but it’s fun to try
And telling stories, I like it, oh my
Sometimes I’m stuck on a picture prompt🧐
But trying to write, always a fun romp.
So do not get too serious these holidays
And find the love in so many ways!🤓

My great granddaughter, 3 1/2. The “wonder” is what it’s about💚❤️
* I guess practice what I preach fits here🙄
Loved your poem, not boring at all! Great tree, I love seeing the magic reflected in children’s eyes this time of year!
