Riding up to the hospital entrance again to what seems unending appointments, I see the little oval shaped tree standing by itself in the entrance. My visits have buoyed seeing the orange leafed tree. My last visit saw the remains few leaves still clinging to baring branches. I still admire its strength to last so long.
observe the beauty
see simple sunset hued leaves
a treat, an escape
forgetting a daily chore
take solace seeing this tree

Almost every leaf is gone now… that is winter.

But snow piled on the branches is beautiful too. We just don’t get much snow here in the city
