dVerse Poets Quadrille

Did you know dVerse created the quadrille form? A quadrille is a poem of exactly 44 words, sans title. It may or may not have a rhyme scheme…..actually, there is no required format except that it be a poem (not prose) of exactly 44 words, sans title. But there is ONE HITCH! You must include the word provided by the pubtender of the day, within the body of the poem.

So….without further ado, I am the pubtender today and the word you must include within the body of your poem is …. SUNRISE.

  1. Hah! Actually I’ve never cared for the song but LOVE the line, “The sun’ll come up, tomorrow”….because for me….even if it’s obscured by clouds, I know it’s there and that always means a “new day” and that to me means hope 🙂

So I understand where you’re coming from. I did enjoy all the dancing in the play itself.
