I use the word cool a lot, I mean I use it for everything! If something’s intelligently written, uh, this post is not an example, it’s cool, if it’s surprisingly tasty, cool, a new song with great words you can actually understand, cool. A new outfit on your daughter? Cool.

Well I could go on, but in case you’re still reading, I have a pretty cool Christmas tree set up by my grandson and his girlfriend. I had some tinsel delivered because I grew up with foil tinsel on the tree and it’s homey. What I received was long thin strips of plastic, but they’re pretty—look like rain on the tree instead of icicles. I know you’re dying to see it, so here’s a pic before I finished the tinsel. My grandson’s girlfriend got a little crazy with the balls, but help any from them fuels gratitude.
