PROMPT WORD:  TYPE

***

“What’s your sign, beautiful? It must be Virgo…” Joe always tried starting a conversation with a woman with this line.

“You mean, what’s my type?”

The woman turned away from Joe and continued to drink her cocktail. Joe is not the best at trying to make an impression and this question he asked was way too cliche for this young woman.

“Well, I guess so. You’re not into astrology then? I think it’s pretty interesting myself.”

“If you must know I’m a Scorpio. I’m sitting here by myself for a reason and I don’t care for any company. Thanks for asking.”

Joe decided she fit the Scorpio personality perfectly, and tried his line again at the end of the bar.
