1.  Did your parental home have a ‘parlour’ or front room reserved only for when you had visitors? No

2. Did you ever go to stay with relatives during the school holidays? No

3. Did relatives (cousins, grandparents) come to stay with your family in the holidays? Yes, loved that, it was crowded coziness!

4. What do you remember from the 1960s.

What decade do you remember the most about? I turned 18, got my first real job – for the government, married and my two sons were born, man landed on the moon and flower children were protesting the war in Vietnam.

Gratitude: I am grateful that my granddaughter arrived safely for a home visit!
