Cooking?

I have a dilemma, found it’s not wise

Relying on old tired eyes

The recipe called for only one dash

After eating, I now have a rash

The peppers too hot

And so I got

Welts on my face

And look a disgrace

The dilemma is this

I hate to admit

I read it wrong

It’s a weary song

I need a cook

Cause I can’t read the book

Properly when making a meal

Cooking has lost its appeal

As time passes

I need new glasses

Or a live in chef!

    2. Our bungalow was designed for disabled living with wide doorways and corridor, light switches at waist height and the bathroom door opening outwards. There are wall cabinets in the kitchen though and the kitchen is actually too small to consider use in a wheelchair.

  5. The last seems to me to be the best. I cooked, both in the Army and as a short order cook in civilian life.
    I married a great cook who enjoys cooking. That last idea of yours is the best, believe me, even if it means cleaning up afterwards.
