Look what he’s done with his song, ma…
JDVance: “You know what really bothers me about Tim Walz, as a Marine who served his country in uniform? When the United States Marine Corps, when the United States of America asked me to go to Iraq to serve my country, I did it,” Vance said. “When Tim Walz was asked by his country to go to Iraq, you know what he did? He dropped out of the Army and allowed his unit to go without him.” (Lies)
But Army Lt. Col. Ryan Rossman, director of operations for the Minnesota National Guard, said Wednesday that Walz’s unit “received an alert order for mobilization to Iraq on July 14, 2005.” Walz had retired two months earlier, in May. (Truth)

Thursday Inspiration #241 Look What They’ve Done To My Song, Ma
My husband and I are veterans. My husband served in the Air Force for 24 years and is 100% disabled. I served 4 years. We should never disparage our veterans. Trump & Vance want to blow up the country with project 25. We can’t let them do it. We must vote BLUE. 💙

I could say thank you for your service, but heard that is not admired by veterans. My husband was in the army at a research lab during the Cold War. He did not go into harm’s way because he was a geophysicist and was busy “freezing dirt” he used to say. I met him there working at the lab.
But I will say thank you, my family and I all appreciate your efforts. Give your husband a big hug for me!

Aww, thanks so much Cheryl. I worked at the Chapel, and then later for the First Sergeant and Squadron Commander. I was not in war, only served during peacetime. But my husband served during Vietnam. And thank you to your husband, and you, working a civilian job. Most folks don’t realize the job civilians (civil service) do for the military.

Interesting that going to war to kill other human beings based upon an utter lie about those other human beings could somehow be seen as a positive.

I don’t agree with your assessment, as Vance never served in a combat role and Walz was already considering retiring, so he could run for Congress, but I don’t like most Republicans and Vance is one of the worst.

I guess you misunderstand what I said. Vance is a lowlife. Waltz is not
