The raven always did his best.
He was quiet now
had ruined their vows
replaced the love
and their sickening white dove
with a sinister mood
said their love was untrue
and they would rue
the day that they met.
His feathers always shiny and wet
added evil tones to his vest
along with gray skies, thunder and rain
the raven brought two lovers pain.
The raven’s job as the witch explained,
was to always cause a disharmonious reign.

A great outlook on the darker side. I really got emersed in this poem. Very nicely done.
