Joe thought the battle done
Thought the long war was won
Devastation seen all around
Survivor moans the only sound
His battered body suddenly weak
Crying, unable to speak
Then a new danger appeared
An adversary’s head up reared
Bigger than the rest
Joe had no time to rest
He stood against it, his fist raised
Then others left their wounded haze
One last battle they all would fight
Evil defeated by their right.
