Finally, a job to do
I’ve been waiting in the closet
Just between me and you
There’s been many small deposits
I like a dog and cat okay
But they are messy every day
If you don’t watch out and clean
Leavings picked up in a routine
Everything will start to smell
Your nice room turns into hell
So please, I’m a broom, put me to use
Use the attached spray cleaner too
I promise I will clean it well
Make this a pleasant place to dwell

I like this told from the point of view of the broom.
I fear my broom feels very neglected.
Will I be excused if I say I don’t have a dog or a cat?
A wise poem.
