Tanka Tuesday

green leaf shade refuge

small creatures scurrying there

secret safe harbor

natural summer shelter

mother nature’s hideaway

***

first firefly seen

delightful darting creature

tiny lights shining

a serene respite pleasure

summer evening garden

***

spring rainy season

thunder claps a harsh warning

icy hail pounding

rescue delicate flowers

cover the beginning buds
