Val’s (Murisopsis’) prompt guidelines
This April, for National Poetry Writing Month (NaPoWriMo), Murisopsis is running an “Around the World” poetry forms scavenger hunt (you should join us there!), and, as such, she is using one of these international forms for our W3 prompt this week!
- Form:Cameo;
- Heptastich (a poem in 7 lines);
- Syllabic: 2-5-8-3-8-7-2 syllables per line;
- Unrhymed, but end words should be strong.
- Theme: Love

Soft brown curly fur
Squiggly wiggly body
Wet kisses
Big paws scratching grooves on your couch
Can’t help but give them a pass
Dog love.
