Not exactly a slide, more of a twist.  My legs tangled but nobody died. Two spiral fractures so eyes began to mist cause I slipped out of my wheelchair two days before. After the injured tailbone it must have caused more because going from chair to chair later I ended up on the floor. A hospital stay for quite a long time and longer rehab down the line. No weight on the leg for at least six weeks, the thought of that gives me the creeps.

  1. 2/8/24 I suffered with a sprained ankle likely with a hairline fracture too. I had to wear remain off my feet for two weeks and then six weeks in a boot. I’m finally, awkwardly, getting back to normal. I can totally relate to this piece.
