Sunday’s Six Sentence Story Word Prompt!
The blood was pulsing through my veins the day you stole my heart.
A river burst within me
and I was bleeding from the start.
My brain was starved of oxygen
and I fell down to my knees.
My pulse hit seven hundred –
I had the love disease.
They took me to the doctor
to be told there was no cure.
That love would have to kill me
for the dose I’d caught was pure.
