There was no humor left as Joe stood between the two trashed vehicles. Previously in a colossal marathon of drinks the night before, Joe and Steve decided to pull a joke on their friend Mark who was newly married into money and lived in a large house with a circular driveway. The next evening Joe sneaked up to Mark’s car and didn’t trigger the alarm as he opened the door. It was an expensive foreign job and Mark didn’t know how to drive it. Steve sneaked in what was Mark’s wife’s car and started it up easily. Joe meant to reverse into the street when the front of the car smashed into the other one with a huge oomph! Mark had just started forward when the two collided. Dogs started barking at the noise, and the newlyweds came running out of the house hearing the crash. All the supposed fun of the joke had turned into a disaster.
