I set the lotion bottle back there…after. I even slid it slightly to the left so it would fall easily. He would reach for it of course. His tendency to have everything in its place was bordering on psychotic. I also pulled up the edge of the top of the stairs carpet runner just a bit, but I replaced that too, after. The lawyers were sympathetic as they read the will that left
everything to me. I hid my glee.
