Good News!🄳

🄳I just had my yearly cancer tests and all good results! Since my two sisters’ deaths this last spring, I was more than anxious going in for these tests. I am elated and grateful to be healthy. When sitting in the waiting room for results yesterday and seeing other older women in bad health, I realized just how lucky I am. 🄳

  1. I have had similar news. The doctor asked, ā€œdo you consider yourself cured?ā€ It must be a standard question. ā€œI think I doā€, I replied, ā€œbut I’m rather more interested in if you consider me to be cured.ā€ I think I saw him shrug his shoulders. ā€œProbablyā€, he said eventually, ā€œsee you in 6 months.ā€

    1. Don’t you just love those answers? My doc said that next year should be my last full testing. It was 20 years between those two cancer bouts so I told my kids if it’s another 20 years I’ll be 89 and probably be dead already or not mindful enough to care

    2. Yes indeed. Here’s something along the same lines to cheer you up …. all the way from Australia. A guy I met a few times – one of Australia’s great guitarists, but not one of the great vocalists. But I love the cheery feel to the tune.

    3. On the contrary I love deep voices like his! Thanks! My middle son played the guitar very well and I miss hearing him in his room playing after school. Thanks for thinking of me ā˜ŗļø
