This week’s Story Starter teaser is:
Irene looked up at the clock and saw that it was five minutes past seven. “Yikes!” Irene shrieked, “I’m going to be late again! Dang you Charlie!” Irene always blamed Charlie, whether it was her own fault forgetting to set the alarm again, or using up all the shower’s hot water, to not making her favorite coffee.
This was Irene, spoiled from the age of one, and a bane on the existence of anyone who lived or worked with her. Charlie, on the other hand was Irene’s deceased husband who succumbed to a stress caused heart attack a few years after they married.
