“Most probably remember George Takei from his role as Sulu in the Star Trek series, but Mr. Takei is also a published author and an activist. Today I came across his latest post on SubStack and I think what he has to say is so important that I want to share it with you. I do hope you’ll take a minute to read and ponder, for he has ‘been there, done that’ as they say.”
Tried to reblog but no go😵💫

Thanks for sharing this post, Rugby! Sorry the reblog wouldn’t work! WordPress has been giving me headaches lately. Thanks again!

Naturally. ‘Twould be nice if they’d make things work right before they started adding other things that also won’t work right!

The most disturbing thing about bigotry being employed as a means of garnishing votes is the fact that it seems to work. What are people thinking? What are they so afraid of? All these gun-toting, rootin’ tootin’ good ole-boys seem to be terrified of gay and transgender people. I don’t get it.
And if they don’t want to employ a few different pronouns then that’s fine by me. They are free to be rude and ignorant. Nobody is going to put them in jail or fine them for it. We’re just going to think they’re dickheads. And we already knew that anyway.
