People in the rushes, hiding in a stream, hoping for a chance to be free. A soldier guide has helped them, a white brother, who is stationed at the nearby fort where the family that is now hiding, was held. He would try to join them later, bringing a couple of rabbits for a meal. The military government was slow in accepting anyone without white skin as anything but slave labor.
