

She gazed lovingly at the beautiful horses painted with rainbows, ever turning in circles. She began to feel dizzy trying to keep eyes on her favorite. She tugged on her father’s hand with a pleading sentence, “I promise I’ll hold on tight, please, daddy?”
“Do you have your allowance to buy a ticket for this carousel?” She fumbled in her coat pocket and retrieved two quarters, handing them to her father. “Well then, pay the man, climb up, and be careful” he said, reluctantly letting her go.
