3TC – Cooking Class

The chef sat uneasily on his stool overlooking the members of the class. He tried not to shift around too much on his seat, but watching the iffy talents of his pupils made him nervous. He knew they would have to learn by doing, but it was difficult watching them and staying quiet, letting them learn from their own mistakes.

It was only after one member started to beat the custard with a mixer instead of by hand, causing the concoction to spin out of the bowl and onto a nearby chair, that he uttered “mon dieu”!
