She walked in wearing a ridiculous diadem on her head, and a big red rose bud peeking out from a low cut bustier. Indeed quizzical, my first thought was she was trying to challenge any of us “normal” attendees, but her waxy eyes staring ahead as if in a trance made us wonder if she had been drugged!
There’s no copyright on trying to be the only woman noticed in the mingle of a party, but she never said a single word! She strode over to the banquet table and sort of leaned there, as if about to faint. My friend and I went over and realized someone had pranked her and she indeed had been drugged.
