I hate them. They ruin the microbes of the land and make dust bowl conditions, harm insects and plants, make me crazy with noise, and have more pollution than most cars. Califronia just made them illegal. They even contribute to hearing loss and obesity in those using them. The rake is the way to go!

I mix it up with a rake, a leave vacuum and a blower for the parts where nothin else works. I never start before 10:00 (if that helps).
