Today’s prompt: Write about an inanimate object in your home that you can’t do without, but don’t name it.

1. Long, black and skinny, flexible to a point, this item is necessary to keep me informed and connected to the outside world.

2. A love hate relationship, always needs charging, batteries are very expensive, always in my way, a help and hindrance all in one.

3. Constantly need cleaning, warp easily, holds my sight in limbo, causes headaches.
