I found this lockdown a great inspiration to do tiresome tasks. I cleaned my junk drawer this week, and in a small apartment, luckily I only have one. In my old home in Colorado I had a few junk drawers with everything contained “just in case I needed it”. Items included: cookie cutters, pliers, odd Tupperware lids, nails, plastic tops from missing bottles, hammers, scissors, pens, pencils, art erasers, canning jar seals, rubber bands, paper clips, rulers, broken pieces of a favorite figurine–only a few of the necessary items, since the drawers in that kitchen were huge and deep. Of course finding anything I might actually need is a different story.

It’s hard to do that because as soon as you throw it away, you’ll need it😅

I’m down to one junk drawer also, but I need to find the time to go through it and purge some junk I’ll never, ever use.
