A virtual graduation party for my oldest son yesterday afternoon, and seeing everyone on an iPad screen, made me realize how much I want my family back.
Two sets are in new homes, one a day away, two other graduates not having an actual graduation ceremony and further college plans disrupted. Five different states came together to celebrate my son’s long achieved sucess.
Like all of us I want this to be over. Watching the news and what is being decided for us, not by us, is disheartening so I turn my eyes to other means so frustration does not take over.
On a lighter note, I want to add we had a lot of laughs, what was happening in your own area, and discussions about meat, is it safe, where do you get it and farming delivery to your door. A local meat plant was a hotspot of outbreaks. It was decided that here in WY unless you have a huge freezer, buying a side of beef, etc. is not an option. And those freezers are scarce now too.
That’s all the news that’s fit to print. Stay well!😊

Congratulations to your son and family and friends! I understand your post. 💚

I hear you–it seems like it’s never ending. I just wish we had a definite end date, like “This will go on until September 1 then back to normal” and then we’d all say “No problem, I can last until then.” It’s the uncertainty that I’m struggling with.
