A to Z Challenge – Intimidating

Feeling frisky

Not risqué

Felt empowered

For only a day

Wrote a few haikus, nothing much

Quick little things about love and such

Bravery overtook my mind

Submitted them to be published in kind

Sent them off quickly without a care

Now seeing them published is quite a scare

As usual I didn’t think

Before putting my mind to ink

Now it’s out there for all to see

I guess what will be will be

Seeing it myself is intimidating

Should have edited better, oh it is grating!

At least I did it, took the plunge

Wonder if it can be expunged?
