Sweet as Sugar

So sweet her name was Sugar

As her friends first saw the show

White as snow they called her

But little did they know.

Her outside seemed extremely chaste

Only her parents realized

What lay hidden beneath the mask

Behind the smile she’d daily paste.

Greeting you face to face

What’s not to like they think

After getting to understand her

Saw the absence of her grace.

A blackened heart she hid

First encounters disappeared

Quickly as a birr.
