“Call security! This woman has just stolen a dress!” The excited manager corralled the young woman while waiting for the guard.

“I’m not stealing anything, this is my own dress!”

“Young woman, it’s plain to see you’re walking out with the same dress that’s on the mannequin! Now do you have a receipt? I thought not. Guard, take this woman to the back and call the police.”

The woman just smiled and went along. She was actually pleased with herself, now having proof she was an accomplished seamstress. The dress she made at home was an exact copy, right down to the lace collar.
