I watched this recently and I think it’s a must see. It’s based on a true story of a serial rapist in places I have lived. It is not graphic, but very disturbing. I have seen warnings on other sites about triggers–I dont know if this is one, but a warning here just in case.
It was horrifying to see how this 18 year old girl was treated as late as 2008, and I believe as I hope many of you also do, that things should have changed by then. It makes me angry and it should make you angry.

unfortunately nothing has changed. Not in the US at any rate. Those who are raped are treated not as victims, but as somehow wanting to be sexually assaulted.

The title is fitting. Unbelievable … that this could happen, as recent as 2008 as you mention. As much as I hope things have changed, I have to wonder.
