Hannah loved this particular fabric store. Her imagination would soar as she perused all the fantastic choices available. Today a unique choice was needed. It was her friend Sasha’s birthday and she wanted something special. A fleece fabric for a cozy blanket maybe? Hannah decided to seek interesting fabrics with more details.

She came upon a soft cottony fabric with a slight stretch to it. A dress, or skirt, jacket? She was full of excitement as ideas flooded in. Hannah decided on making a skirt with this fabric. She took great care in choosing the thread to compliment, in a deep burgundy hue.

The gift was completed quickly and presented to her friend. Hannah was pleased. Sasha ripped open the gift and ran in her bedroom to try on the skirt; Hannah joined her. Sasha was admiring herself in the mirror when the skirt seemed to expand and engulf her. Hannah just sat on the bed watching, seeming unsurprised at this happening. Sasha cried out in desperation before the fabric totally consumed her and then only a smidgeon of burgundy thread remained on the floor. Hannah quickly scooped it up and threw it away. Sasha was gone.

Hannah left Sasha’s apartment and walked down the street with a bounce in her step. The plan worked, she knew Sasha wouldn’t hesitate to try on the gift, or wait a second before pulling it on, she was so narcissistic. The trick was in the mirror. As soon as Sasha took longer than three minutes admiring her reflection, the thread would do its magic.
