They congregated up in the hills, far away from judging eyes. It started out as an ordinary coffee group before work on week days, a way to have a bit of fun before the usual mundane routine. Jack Smith began the group with his best friend Joe Brown and each week the morning get-together drew more friends with similar beliefs.
The coffee shop gathering expanded to a Saturday morning meetup since the group was increasing, more than casual conversation ensued, and different members took turns hosting. It seemed clear to everyone involved that their beliefs were not uncommon any longer but might be perceived as a danger. This was after a visit to one of their homes by the Secret Service.
It was then they decided to meet in a secret destination on Saturdays. They even went so far as to publish a newsletter available only to members. It was titled “The Terrible Trump Times”.
