
“Everything looks very bright and polished, Evan. You take such wonderful care of your hobby.” Jane looked around this part of the boat a bit longer and then went out to the deck. The sea air rejuvenating and the linen dress was clinging to her from the sprays of sea mist.
Evan came close to her side, reveling in his expectations of their ride on the waves. Noticing the thin dress revealed Jane’s chill, he put a purposeful arm around her shoulders. “Come, my dear, let us retire to the warmth of my cabin.”
Jane knew this first voyage would be rewarding.
