I’m proud to say we sang patriotic songs every day in my one room school house as a child. It was a rousing favorite. This youtube version is cute and the tinny old piano in the background makes it complete : )

Probably meant something to the majority then as opposed to the twisted minds of some today who distort patriotism for their own selfish ends. Sigh.
