The Haunted Wordsmith 5-11-19

A trip to the grocery store never sounded appealing to the young twins but finding two child sized shopping carts seemed to entertain them. Their busy mom being rather distracted, let the girls explore on their own. On this particular Saturday, pre-Easter Sunday, the grocery owner decided to add a small petting zoo in the produce section. There were baby animals there and once the girls found it, they were enthralled.

While no one was looking, the girls emptied two bins of baby ducks into their baskets and ran down the aisle to find their mother. The clerk in charge ran after them and finding them securely attached to their mom, explained to her, “you can’t do that in here.”
