He never thought there’d be a trial
He thought if he just kept her in denial
But then she wouldn’t, so he used the vial
It wasn’t supposed to be homicidal
It was only to keep her quiet a while.
☠️☠️☠️
She vowed to tell the truth so vile
She no longer viewed him as her idol
Telling authorities was now vital
Never thinking of his reprisal
T’was her certain mistake, the final.

I’m really a conformist in scribbling poetry obviously. In fact even calling it poetry seems ridiculous

I have no idea what real legitimate poetry is. Once we allow for free verse, that seems to mean nothing is mandatory anyway
