Mother Nature is showing her prowess in Vermont–from my sister:
“We listened to rocks rolling in the brook…’torrent’ through the night and thunder…fire and water rescue went by at 6:30am…there is a washout somewhere…saw a thirty foot hemlock float down through… says this is the worst flooding since 2011.”

I’m hoping their bridge to the road stays put this year.

Pretty intense pictures. My roommate asked if I had heard the storm that blasted its way through NJ last night. I had no clue until I saw some of the damage on the news this morning.

My son lives in NJ. I’ll have to look that up!

I think it was mostly central/northern NJ that got it. Not a 100% sure. But the temps certainly dropped quickly too.

They live right up next to the NY border

Ah, gotcha! I hope they didn’t get damage. The winds even increased a lot today. Total opposite of the last two days.
