A to Z Challenge – M

M for movies! I’m a movie nut. I get more emotional now watching them than ever before. The only type I don’t like are gory, torture or horror. I say that with full disclosure as I will be glued to the new season of Game of Thrones tonight. This weekend I’ve been watching the last season to catch up. It is very popular and the idea that the producers are ending it this year doesn’t seem to make sense. But I digress…again.

Movies is the topic and each Monday I try to remind you of one I enjoyed that you might have missed.

Of course the new Avenger’s movie comes out in a couple of days. I don’t watch previews, I think they show too much, but I am looking forward to seeing it. I’m splurging to watch it on the big screen, comfy reclining seats, icy cup holder filled with a soft drink and popcorn of course. A rare treat and I plan on taking full advantage!

  1. We saw Welcome to Marwen as a family on Christmas Day. That was the last movie I saw in the theater. We watched The Mule the other night on DVD. I think I need to see The Greatest Showman. I’ve heard so many good things about it.

  2. Movies in the theater are definitely a splurge these days. I actually can’t remember the last one we saw…which is a little sad, really. I agree with you about The Greatest Showman — that one’s amazing!
