Woke up thinking it was Tuesday, I have no idea why. Possibly because yesterday was a long day…? I am recommending “Out of Africa”, 1913, Kenya, and Robert Redford and Meryl Streep were so beautiful in this movie. Based on the book “Out of Africa” is a memoir by the Danish author Karen Blixen. The book, first published in 1937, recounts events of the seventeen years when Blixen made her home in Kenya, then called British East Africa.
I watched it this weekend with my 16 year old grandson. He was reluctant at first but enjoyed it as it went on.
